REACTIVE DYES
The dyes that react and form a covalent bond with the fabric to give a stronger colour, are reactive dyes. These dyes are extremely versatile and are extensively used on cellulose fabrics.
DIRECT DYES
Direct dyes have poor wash fastness and you will find the colour bleeding with every wash. Not to mention, the lightfastness is extremely good and that’s why these dyes are also quite popular. The direct dyes are used mostly because of good lightfastness at a reasonable cost.
ACID DYES
Acid dyes are one of the most widely used dyeing agents. The acid dyes manufacturers suggest them for faster and vibrant coloring. The acid dyes can be used to colour wool, nylon, silk and various other fabrics.
